Week 45 saw a record 111 container vessels at anchor, prior to the Covid Pandemic the record had been 17 ships waiting to berth. The previous record of 108 vessels was reported on 21st October this year. A fine system will be implemented on the 15-Nov to try and alleviate the congested ports, shipping lines will be fined 100 USD per container per day for every container …
